Workforce Development Project

The Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR) and Safe States Alliance are collaborating on an Injury and Violence Prevention Pipeline Project to further grow and diversify the succession of researchers and practitioners entering the field of injury and violence prevention. A strong and diverse workforce is a critical component of the infrastructure needed to effectively prevent injuries and violence. 

This project will expand partnerships and opportunities for injury and violence prevention training, networking, collaboration, and mentorship for students, trainees, and early career professionals, including those in related fields. If you have questions about the project, contact us.
