SAVIR 2021 Virtual Conference

April 5 – 9, 2021

Co-hosted by the Johns Hopkins Center for Injury Research and Policy (JHCIRP) and the Johns Hopkins International Research Unit (JHIRU)

The theme for the 2021 conference is “Injury and Violence Prevention for a Changing World: From Local to Global”. During this meeting, we will highlight the creative ways that scientists are advancing injury and violence research in an ever-changing world.  We recognize the rapidly changing world we live in and want to highlight the role of injury and violence research and practice during a global pandemic and international calls for racial justice.  This is also the first time the SAVIR conference is being co-hosted by a center focusing on international injury.  By going virtual, we expect to be able to engage researchers from around the world more than ever before!
