They are open to candidates with a wide range of scholarly interests that are salient to urban and/or global public health including but not limited to immigration, migration, poverty, violence prevention, mental health, nutrition, environment/climate change, sexual and reproductive health. They seek an individual with a program of research informed by implementation science, clinical trials, observational studies, and through the application and testing of innovative technologies and methodologies. They seek a creative faculty member who is motivated to understand and improve public health through scholarship, service, and policy development; has the potential to develop and sustain an extramurally funded research program; contribute actively to the teaching mission using modern pedagogical techniques; and mentor MPH and doctoral students. A robust mentoring program exists within the school for faculty. An attractive recruitment package will include a competitive salary and start-up funds.
