The Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center is seeking a biostatistician to provide statistical and data management support for a newly established Drug Overdose Technical Assistance Center supported by funding from the CDC. The biostatistician will be responsible for managing and analyzing drug overdose related administrative datasets using SAS; providing data quality control; and analyzing data and producing state- and county-level reports. The biostatistician will also be responsible for responding to drug overdose-related ad hoc data requests from state and local agencies, community organizations, researchers and other stakeholders; and providing statistical support to the project evaluator. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in biostatistics and be highly proficient in SAS with several years of experience in data management, data quality control, analysis and reporting with SAS. Previous experience working with administrative claims data or prescription drug monitoring program data is desired.
