Injury Prevention and Research Center

The Injury Prevention and Research Center (IPRC) at Children's Memorial Hospital strives to reduce preventable injuries to children and adolescents. Founded in 2005, the IPRC coordinates all unintentional and intentional (including child maltreatment) injury prevention activities within the hospital.

The IPRC works collaboratively with communities, schools, and public agencies throughout Illinois to better understand the causes of injury and to discover and implement solutions to help youth grow up safely.
