Councils

Under our bylaws, SAVIR is organized with both Committees and Councils. Committees are more organizational in nature whereas Councils are more topical, made up of  members who have a specific interest or role. Councils may also be represented by a voting seat on the Board for whom only members of that Council may vote.

Currently, one Council has been formed, the Council of Centers, composed of a representative from each of SAVIR's academic injury and violence research Center members.
