In 2004-2005 among people under 25 years of age, non-Hispanic whites had higher injury episode rates than did Hispanics and non-Hispanic blacks. For those aged 25-64 years, injury episode rates for non-Hispanic whites and for non-Hispanic blacks were similar, and were higher than rates for Hispanics.
